IE-WEBS software installation:
Download the IEG IE-WEBS setup software <downloadlink>
Run the IB & IE-WEBS setup software to install on your local PC drive. This PC should have accessibility to the Internet for online registration of the software.
The IEG welcome logo will be displayed, press NEXT to continue
The InstallShield Welcome screen will be displayed, after reading press NEXT to continue.
A ReadME window will be shown as a reminded of how you might wish to install this software.
The Destination Location gives you the opportunity to install the software into the default path or change the location to your choice.
The Program Folder gives your the opportunity to install the software into a default Windows folder or change the folder to a name of your choice.
The software installation will begin
You will be asked to complete a form and register the IB IE-WEBS software. If you do not wish to complete this form you may EXIT the form and register at a later time.
At the complete of the software installation you will be able to view the README file and /or finish the InstallShield installation.
For IEG vIP Connector Setup: (this applies only if IB is to be run over the web)
Open the windows folder named in IE-WEBS software installation step 7.
Open the IEG vIP Connector ICON.
If you have not previously registered the IEG software, Connector will step you through the registration process. A Lock Code will be displayed. Register over the internet and proceed to step 6 or write the Lock code down and contact IEG via email, or call (630) 759 7162 (USA) between 0900 - 1800 Central Time to receive a registration Key.
After receiving the registration key from IEG repeat Connector steps 1 and 2 and continue from this point.
Enter the registration key from IEG and "Try the Key"
Press OK to "Please fill in Run Options"
Enter a value of "My Computer Name" . This represents the name of the PC you are running on. If your site has assigned PC names then use that value or make up a value that is perhaps your company and your own initials. This name should be unique for each PC on which Connector is installed. The value of Web Monitor computer name should be: 209.217.14.130 and the value of Web Monitor port should be 1001. Press EXIT to continue
Successful completion should result in seeing a "Choose a Business Segment" window. To test the installation select the IEG GUI Webs Builder entry.
LDA RT should appear in yor task bar.
To terminate the LDART close the connector
