Using Interface Builder (IB): Generate Options (CONFG) continued
> MODIFY/BUILD GUI SETTINGS/MODEL - This options is used when you wish to generate LDA GUI forms. If you already have GUI forms using this option will replace existing GUI forms when the output model is loaded into LDA. > BUILD DHTML FORMS - This option is used to generate DHTML forms that are used with the IEG IE-WEBS product which allows LDA runtime applications to be accessible over the Internet. > BUILD ASP FORMS - This option is used to generate ASP pages for use with Unisys ActiveLINC to front end LINC applications.
After selecting the Generate Option, press PROCEED AFTER SCANNING MODEL - a background task will be initiated which will scan and load needed information. PROCEED WITHOUT SCANNING MODEL - process will continue to the next form based on the Generate Option NOTE: IB will automatically detect when the model name changes or when the Generate Option changes between GUI and DHTML/ASP. If either of these situations are encountered, a background task will be initiated to scan the model, even if you select the button PROCEED WITHOUT SCANNING MODEL.
Other options available on the CONFG form are: Maintain Style Sheets - this is a future option (scheduled for August 2000) that will enable you to maintain style sheets associated with the ASP and DHTML forms. Making changes to the style sheets can impact your forms without having to rebuild all or selected ASP/DHTML forms.
Maintain IEWEBS.INI - building ASP/DHTML forms has several options that you can customize as you wish. If the IEWEB.INIT does not exist or features are introduced in future IB releases, IB will guide you to the IEWEB INI maintenance form. The IEWEBS-INI file retains your options and is saved in the "WORK" directory where the LCIF model is placed. IN this manner the settings are associated to the LINC application. You will have a IEWEBS.INI file for each "WORK" directory.
Review the Style Sheets, IEWEB INI options or skip ahead to the generation process.
