Information Migration

Information Migration (IM) is a methodology and process to move LINC applications data and specifications between A-series, UNIX, NT or LDA III workstation environments. LINC II report programs are generated, specifically for your application, to unload data from the existing repositories in a unique format. Existing file transfer utilities move the data between environments. Once resident on the new hardware, these same reports load the new database. An LDA III run-time system renovates case extracts of LINC II application specifications to produce new case models compliant with the target platform.
