IEG vIP Connector Operation:

  • Menu Description:  Monitor provides a menu for each Connector.  Enter here the description you would like the Monitor to provide for your Business Segment.  Limit it to about 30 characters.  Do not include any special characters such as ampersand (&), underscore (_), greater-than or less-than (< >) symbols.
  • 'Goodbye' prompt:  When users sign off the system, they will be provided with a web page to indicate the session has successfully been closed.  The page will display this 'Goodbye' prompt as an HTML link (see next).  Enter the message you would like the user to see.
  • 'Goodbye' link:  Enter the complete HTML link to the destination you wis transfer the user when the user clicks the 'Goodbye' prompt.  If you wish to send the user back to the Monitor's menu, enter "LDAweb.asp?action=menu&host=mycomputername" where mycomputername is the name you supplied for "My computer name" in the Run Options.

  1. After you fill in the form, click ADD, then click Exit.  On the Connector's Menu bar, click File . . . Save Layout.  Then click File (again) . . . Exit.
  2. On Subsequent executions of Connector, you will be presented with a menu of Business Segments you have declared.  Choose the one you wish to make available ("Publish") to the WWW.  Note that only one Business Segment can be made available from any one Connector at any one time.
  3. To send the Connector to "end of job" and close the LDA RT session,
    click File . . . Exit on the Connector's Menu bar.
