Using Interface Builder (IB):

Section Red contains environmental options (global.asa)

  • Host Server name  - The network name or IP number of the computer that host  the RATL interface to the desired LINC system.  Do not use special characters such as dashes, or slashes in naming this item.
  • RATL View Name  -  The name of the view as declared to the RATL "listener" and used in the connection process from Active LINC to RATL.  Do not use special characters such as dashes, or slashes in  naming this item.
  • Environment Name  -  The name of the Business Segment (COMS window name) in  all upper case. Do not use special characters such as dashes, or slashes in naming this item.
  • Package Prefix  -  The industry convention is "com.company" where company is your organization name with no special characters such as dashes and slashes.
  • Application Name  - The Host LINC application name in all lower case.  Typically the same as the Business Segment name.  Do not use special characters such as dashes, or slashes in naming this item.
  • Bundle Name  -  The name of the bundle (group) of Ispecs generated by the ActiveLINC generator.  Quite often "all" is the default value.   This is case sensitive and must match case declared to the ActiveLINC generator.
  • User Name  -  Name/Password to use as the signon if RATL has been configured to require a signon.
  • Password  -  Name/Password to use as the signon if RATL has been configured to require a signon.
  • Domain Name  -  For NT systems, the NT's domain name.  Quite often a dot "."  is used as a wild card indicating "current" domain. 
  • Session TimeOut  -  Timeout interval in minutes
  • Sign off URL  -  This URL is use when the application user signs off the application and you want to navigate the user to some other URL address.

Section Green contains environmental options (iegglb.inc)
  • LSS Name  - the default asp provided by IEG is DataToRatl.asp
